EASY PEASY stood losing 5 lengths. KATIE'S TREASURE jumped out as the start was effected and thereafter, refused to gallop. KATIE'S TREASURE refused to proceed to the start and had to be led by a handler. Trainer P Lafferty was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. In the concluding stages, CLASS OF EIGHT was carried in by SPRING BURST which shifted in marginally. Apprentice Pieterse reported that IMPERIAL ROYAL did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. LA VALETTE shifted both ways, away from the crop from the 400m. RACHEL was hanging in, in the concluding stages. In view of the Starter's report with regard to EASY PEASY , this mare's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and it was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day. EASY PEASY may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
