THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WILD APPLAUSE (W Agrella) jumped slow, losing one length. b) SONG OF MYSELF (C Habib) and KINDRED HEART (K Minnie) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h37) b) Permission was granted for DANISH DYNAMITE (C Zackey) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) DANISH DYNAMITE (C Zackey) had to steady off the heels of SWEETIE DARLING (C Little) when carried inwards by PRISCILLA MAISEY (MK Katjedi), which shifted inwards at the 150m. Thereafter, SWEETIE DARLING (C Little) had to steady off the heels of PRISCILLA MAISEY (MK Katjedi), which continued to shift inwards, shortly before the finish line. The Stewards called for a race review with regards to this incident and after reviewing the patrol film, took no further action. Jockey MK Katjedi (PRISCILLA MAISEY) appeared before the Board and was advised to react sooner to correct his mounts when they are shifting ground. d) Jockey M Yeni did not persevere with his riding of BONJOUR LA VILLE from the 350m and thereafter reported that he felt something amiss with this filly. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. The Stipendiary Board has exercised the provisions of Rule 49.7, and this BONJOUR LA VILLE is suspended pending a Veterinary Certificate prior to its next racing engagement. Trainer K Mitchley was advised. Trainer K Mitchley was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. e) Jockey K Minnie reported that he felt something amiss with KINDRED HEART. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. f) SYMPHONY IN WHITE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
