THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (11h42) b) In a slow-run race, LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (G van Niekerk) was ridden forward and to the front of the field from the 1200m. c) ERIC LIDDELL (M Yeni) and GENTLEMAN JOE (R Fourie) brushed at the 300m. d) Between the 300m and the 150m LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (G van Niekerk) was allowed to shift outwards towards TENPENNY (JP van der Merwe) without correction.
