ISLAND MISTRESS was slow into stride. BITTER ORANGE was slow losing two lengths. ON BROADWAY jumped inwards leaving the stalls. STORM REPORT was stubborn loading. Jockey Zackey, the rider of ROYAL REWARD, and Apprentice Ferraris, the rider of WINTER ILLUSION, reported that their respective mounts did not stride out freely in running. BIANCA over-raced in the early and middle stages and thereafter hung out from the 400m. At approximately the 300m, FORT ANNE switched out off the heels of PASSOVER to continue to its run. LIGHTNING ROCK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BITTER ORANGE raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: ROYAL REWARD - not striding out behind and fatigued. WINTER ILLUSION - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. LIGHTNING ROCK - abnormal respiratory noise.
