THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h33) b) UN BEL DI (C Zackey) and NORTH POINT (JP van der Merwe) brushed on two occasions shortly after the start. c) CANDY TOWN (K de Melo) raced close to the inside running rail in the concluding stages. d) Jockey C Zackey reported that UN BEL DI tired quickly in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) SARDINIA BAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GW Ennion was advised.
