THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE AS WELL AS THE 25-MINUTE INTERVAL BETWEEN RACES. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AZALEAS FOR ALL (R Munger) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, AZALEAS FOR ALL (R Munger) and BACK FROM WAR (P Mxoli) came together and brushed. c) ART NOUVEAU (G Lerena) was continuously baulked for a clear run from the 500m to the finish. d) DUCHESS OF PALOMA (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Woodruff, acting on behalf of Trainer J Crawford, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) AZALEAS FOR ALL: Jockey R Munger weighed out at 54,6kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
