THE STARTER REPORTED: a) OLIVIA'S WAY (R Fourie) and LEGEND OF ARTHUR (L Mxothwa) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Jockey R Munger felt something amiss with TAEGAN'S CHAMP and eased this gelding out of the race from the 400m. Thereafter, Jockey R Munger reported that this gelding did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) KING'S EXPRESS (*G Samo-Burthia) shifted in away from the crop from the 200m. d) In view of the performance of LEGEND OF ARTHUR (L Mxothwa), (distance 15,70 lengths, betting 16/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) CHOISAANADA (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer D Mulligan was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) TAEGAN'S CHAMP was ridden by Jockey R Munger (declared 13 March 2026 at 08H45). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. Race 8 contd.
