a) CODEWORD (MK Katjedi) was nervous in the stalls. b) ONE SUMMER (M Yeni) jumped inwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h58) b) Permission was granted for OH MANDY (W Agrella) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) ONE SUMMER (M Yeni) jumped inwards and made slight contact with CODEWORD (MK Katjedi) shortly after the start. d) HOMING PIGEON (C Zackey) and OH MANDY (W Agrella) came together and brushed shortly after the start. e) CODEWORD (MK Katjedi) and TITTLEMOUSE (ZIM) (R Fourie) over raced in the early and middle stages. f) RISSIEPIT (S Khathi) raced prominently at the front of the field and compounded in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. g) MEDITERRANEANFLAME (S Khumalo) shifted outwards away from the crop from the 400m. h) The saddle on ONE SUMMER (M Yeni) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. i) HOMING PIGEON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
