THE STARTER REPORTED: a) UTSAAH (C Zackey) was restless in the stalls. b) NICOLSON LANDING (J R Syster) stumbled leaving the stalls. c) BE MY FATE (M van Rensburg) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) CHARIKLO (*T Mayhew) hung out from the 300m. c) At approximately the 150m, NICOLSON LANDING (J R Syster) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of UTSAAH (C Zackey), which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey C Zackey was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of UTSAAH, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to NICOLSON LANDING (J R Syster) when he shifted in at approximately the 150m. Jockey C Zackey signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven (7) days. Suspension dates: To be advised. d) UTSAAH (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
