THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process TRAFALGAR SQUARE (M Yeni) kicked the back gates repeatedly. This gelding was released from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. b) SMORGASBORD (J Gates) reared once in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) MAR DEL PLATA (C Zackey) reared as the start was effected, jumped awkwardly and lost ground to the field. This gelding was unable to make up the deficit and raced detached from the field throughout. c) In view of the performance of CLEVER TREVOR (S Veale) (10.45 lengths, 8/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Apprentice D Ramkhalawon (RAINBOW REWARD) rode a satisfactory qualifying ride. e) POSITION OF POWER (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C Zackey was the rider of MAR DEL PLATA (advised 22.03.2026/08h13). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
