THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PENNY'S WORLD (*J Botes) was stubborn loading. b) MOSCOW MISS (S Naidoo) was nervous in the stalls, stood awkwardly and jumped outwards. c) ALEX MILLER (*B Marx-Jacobson) jumped awkwardly inwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h15) b) Shortly after the start, ENDEARED (*B Soodoo) was squeezed out between MOSCOW MISS (S Naidoo), which jumped outwards and VOORSMAAKIE (M van Rensburg), which jumped inwards. c) Shortly after the start PENNY'S WORLD (*J Botes), which jumped outwards and COLORAMA (MK Katjedi), which jumped inwards, came together and bumped. d) OPERA VERSE (*G Dookhit) over raced in the early stages. e) ALEX MILLER (*B Marx-Jacobson) over raced in the early and middle stages. f) At the 200m BLOWIN IN THE WIND (E Webber) shifted out away from the crop and was immediately corrected. g) Leaving the 200m COLORAMA (MK Katjedi) was directed outwards to obtain a clear run. h) In view of the performance of PENNY'S WORLD (*J Botes), which was not persevered with from the 150m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. i) In view of the performance of OPERA VERSE (*G Dookhit), which was not persevered with from the 100m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. j) COLORAMA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
