THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VOLEGOV (+V Bikwe) was reluctant to load and restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (11h49) b) Due to a technical issue, a manual start was effected. This was brought to the attention of the Racing Operator. c) THE BIG BANG (+L Geledu) was allowed to shift out from the 300m and thereafter, raced in isolation on the outside of the racecourse. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding VOLEGOV (+V Bikwe), Trainer WA Nel will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) VOLEGOV, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
