THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NTIBINDI (*S Bungane) was fractious in the stalls and thereafter, jumped slow, losing one length. b) LIEFLING (C Murray) was restless in the stalls. c) MON PAPILLON (C Zackey) jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h02) b) Jockey C Zackey's (MON PAPILLON) right side foot made contact with the front gates leaving the stalls. Jockey C Zackey was examined by the course Medical Doctor and passed fit to continue riding. c) In view of the performance of LIEFLING (C Murray), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding LIEFLING (C Murray), Trainer J Crawford was advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding NTIBINDI (*S Bungane), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to load on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 31/03/2026 to 06/04/2026, both dates inclusive) NTIBINDI may not be presented for re-passing during this period. f) SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
