THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MYSTIC INFERNO (C Zackey) was restless in the stalls and jumped outwards. b) SPARKLING STAR (A Domeyer) was restless in the stalls, was taken out and reloaded and thereafter, was fractious in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. c) MACRO GRAVITY (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter, was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (11h46) b) Shortly after the start PEACE GARLAND (O Noach) was bumped on the hindquarters by IN HOT WATER (R Fourie), which shifted out away from MYSTIC INFERNO (C Zackey). c) IN HOT WATER (R Fourie) raced green. d) In view of the debut performance of QUEEN INDRANI (M Yeni), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding SPARKLING STAR (A Domeyer), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to load on terms with a companion.
