THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BOOZY SUZIE (S Veale) was restless in the stalls, was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed suitable to race and reloaded. Thereafter, BOOZY SUZIE (S Veale) jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths. b) MARITZBURG MEMORY (O Noach) jumped awkwardly, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h58) b) In view of the performance of PEACE OF MIND (C Orffer), which tired quickly in the latter stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding BOOZY SUZIE (S Veale), Trainer J Crawford will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. d) WHIRLWIND, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
