THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PURE DELIGHT (*G Dookhit) was stubborn loading. b) CHERICHERILADY (*B Soodoo) and POWER OF TIGER (*K J Lihaba) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) EMPRESS WU recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer J S Roux was advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level.
