THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MISS HANNIGAN (*B Marx-Jacobson), MISS NOVAX (M Yeni) and FISH HAWK (J R Syster) were slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) At approximately the 1200m, MISS HANNIGAN (*B Marx-Jacobson) took an awkward stride. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) DESTINY OF FIRE (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer P Dlhamini, acting on behalf of Trainers M/M de Kock, was advised (MduP). When questioned regarding the improved performance of DESTINY OF FIRE, Assistant Trainer P Dlhamini advised the Board, that, in his opinion, the firmer underfoot conditions of today's race had suited her as opposed to the ground condition of her two previous races. JOCKEY CHANGES: a) VAMANOS: Jockey R Munger weighed out at 54,4kg, 1kg over the carded weight of which 0,5kg was declared. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
