THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROYAL CITY GIRL (M Yeni) was stubborn loading. b) FAMILY POWER (C Zackey) and MONTELENA (C Little) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h26) b) AVERNIAN GODDESS (C Maujean) was hanging in from the 250m and was corrected shortly before the finish line. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with ROYAL CITY GIRL. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer K Mitchley was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. d) FAMILY POWER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
