THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KISSING MACHINE (P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) BREEZE OVER (R A Venniker) was slow, losing one length. c) TAXHAVEN (M K Katjedi) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) BREEZE OVER (R A Venniker) commenced to give ground to the field from the 400m, In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) ENFLAME (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
