THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) ROYAL VICTORY (R A Venniker) refused to jump and gallop. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer W C Marwing was advised (GT).
b) MADISON VALLEY (M Yeni) was slow into stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded.
b) SEE IT AGAIN (C Zackey) over-raced in the early stages.
c) At approximately the 1600m, FIRE ATTACK (C Habib), which commenced to over-race, ran onto the heels of THE ULTIMATE KING (C Murray), which rolled in and as a consequence THE ULTIMATE KING (C Murray) shifted out sharply.
d) In view of the performance of MADISON VALLEY (M Yeni), (distance 23,30 lengths, betting 33/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ROYAL VICTORY (R A Venniker), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 90 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion on a Raceday.
Suspension dates: 5 April 2026 to 4 July 2026. ROYAL VICTORY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer W C Marwing was advised.
f) SEE IT AGAIN (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

g) OKAVANGO (R Fourie), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
