The start of this Race was delayed due to a mechanical failure to the starting stalls. During the loading process QUEST OF VALOR (C Murray) was restless in the stalls and was released from the stalls to be examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. QUEST OF VALOR (C Murray) was passed fit to race and was reloaded which led to a further delay of this race. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUEST OF VALOR (C Murray) became restless in the stalls, was removed from the stalls to be examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, was passed fit to race and reloaded. b) SPLASH OF LOVE (M Yeni) lost 1 length. c) MAJESTIC LIMPOPO (C Habib) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) MAJESTIC LIMPOPO (C Habib) raced detached throughout and was not persevered with from the 300m. Thereafter Jockey C Habib reported that MAJESTIC LIMPOPO did not stride out freely in the running.
