During the loading process FORD PERFECT proved unruly and broke through the front of the starting stalls, was restrained by the handler, returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently withdrawn. As a consequence of this action by FORD PERFECT, ORCHID STREET became restless in the stalls, resulting in Jockey Yeni bumping his left ankle. Jockey Yeni was examined by the course medical staff and declared fit to ride. These incidents caused a delay to the start of this race. During the loading process FORD PERFECT was unruly and broke through the front gates. Scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. The starting stalls certificate for this colt has been withdrawn. CONTRAIL lost 2 lengths. In view of the Starter's report with regard to FORD PERFECT, this colt has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 18 August 2019 to 24 August 2019. FORD PERFECT may not be presented for repassing during this period. CONTRAIL raced green throughout. TALLINN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: WORD RULER - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: POTALA - coughing. FORD PERFECT - head injury in stalls.
