THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WARRIOR ROYALE refused to load and was withdrawn. b) DARK MATTER lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) An Inquiry will be opened in order to establish why LION RAMPART had to check shortly after the start. c) Leaving the 200m, KING OF THE GAULS was bumped out by LION RAMPART which shifted in away from the crop and immediately corrected. d) Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with I AM GIANT in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to WARRIOR ROYALE, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day. Suspension dates: 03.05.2026 to the 09.05.2026. WARRIOR ROYALE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M Miller will be advised. (SN) f) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning I AM GIANT, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer S Ferrie was advised. (Suspension Dates : 03.05.2026 to the 01.07.2026, bdi) g) TAXI TO THE MOON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
