AMBRA jumped out leaving the stalls. THOMAS SHELBY bumped at the start. CASUAL WEAR was slow into stride. BIG BAY fly jumped leaving the stalls, slow away and lost 1 length. Approaching the 800m, the saddle on BIG BAY slipped forward and sideways which placed Apprentice Jacobs at a disadvantage. This colt made its run around the field and raced particularly awkwardly upon straightening until the 200m where the colt came to the end of its run. Apprentice Jacobs was interviewed by the Stewards and tendered the explanation that his saddle had slipped sideways in the running but he had failed to report this to a licenced official as required. Apprentice Jacobs was reprimanded and advised to report anything which may affect the running of his mounts in future. At approximately the 400m, CASUAL WEAR had to steady and switch out to avoid running onto the heels of BARBARELLA NIGHTS which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. AMBRA and ALOYSIUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BIG BAY raced equipped with a tongue tie. Scratched: QUAKESHAKE - lame near fore.
