THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BEACH WALKER was stubborn loading. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) TIME HONORED over-raced in the early stages. c) Work Rider T Matsoele was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he, as the rider of EHHFIFTEENKJOE, misused his crop by striking this gelding more than ten times (12). When assessing the penalty, the Board took into account Work Rider T Matsoele's penalty record with regard to 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop). Work Rider T Matsoele signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in two (2) Work Rider races. Suspension dates: 26 May 2026 and 18 June 2026. d) EHHFIFTEENKJOE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Ndzilana advised (MS).
