THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO ASIAH'S TIARA PROVING STUBBORN LOADING AND SUBSEQUENTLY BEING SCRATCHED. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ASIAH'S TIARA refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer C Mayhew was advised (GT). b) FRED FRIZZLE jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Jockey M van Rensburg reported that EMERALD CITY did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey J Mariba reported that FRED FRIZZLE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ASIAH'S TIARA, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion on a Raceday. Suspension dates: 8 May 2026 to 14 May 2026. ASIAH'S TIARA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer C Mayhew was advised. e) GREEN MACHINE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Mathew de Kock was advised (MS).
