THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COGNAC lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start FIRST ORIGIN was momentarily inconvenienced on the inside of PLUS FOUR, which was carried in marginally by DONQUERARI, which rolled in and was corrected. c) CONNERY hung in and shifted in from the 200m. d) Approaching the 100m PLUS FOUR and KALAHARI ROLLER came together and brushed. e) In view of the performance of DONQUERARI, which hung in from the 350m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) In view of the performance of FIRST ORIGIN, which tired rapidly from the 200m and was not persevered with. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) MISS WORLD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A A Azzie was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) UMZINGELI WENYATHI : Cut into left hind. b) DONQUERARI : Nothing obvious detected. c) FIRST ORIGIN : Nothing obvious detected.
