THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE.
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) WAYNE was restless in the stalls.
b) ROYAL EDITION jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
c) Shortly after the start, WAYNE and OLYMPIAN GOLD came together and bumped.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded.
b) Shortly after the start, DIOGENES, OPEN HIGHWAY and DIWALI ROCKET were bumped in by ROYAL EDITION, which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
c) Leaving the 200m, WAYNE was carried out by KUDZU, which shifted out away from the crop and was straightened.
d) In view of the performance of JORDAN, (distance 6,05 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
e) Jockey C Habib reported that DIOGENES changed stride continually in running.
