THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) LIONS EYE over-raced in the early stages. c) INDECENT PROPOSAL over-raced in the early stages and thereafter was baulked for a clear run in the concluding stages. d) At the 50m, Jockey K Strydom (MUSIC IS LIFE) accidentally dropped his crop. e) In view of the performance of LIONS EYE (7.30 lengths, 8/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) Jockey K Strydom reported that MUSIC IS LIFE took no interest in the running.
