THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) As the start was effected FRERE JACQUES and UZWANO came together and bumped. c) At the 400m DIANI was carried out by CLEARTHERUNWAY, which was directed outwards to obtain a clear run. d) Approaching the 250m KITCHAKAL, POWER STAR and GUY GIBSON were brushed in by AFRICAN DUSK which shifted in. e) Apprentice A Mosaheb was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of AFRICAN DUSK, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to POWER STAR (A Mgudlwa), KITCHAKAL (S Veale) and GUY GIBSON (R Fourie) at approximately the 150m. Apprentice Mosaheb signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days (Dates to be advised). f) In the concluding stages CLEARTHERUNWAY was steadied when squeezed out between JP'S PALACE, which shifted out and DIANI, which shifted in. g) Jockey R A Venniker was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that, as the rider of JP'S PALACE, she failed to ensure that she did not cause interference to CLEARTHERUNWAY (C Habib) when shifting out when insufficiently clear in the concluding stages. Jockey Little signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding at one race meeting (Date to be advised). i) MOHAVE PRINCE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
