THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FUSHIMI INARI was restless in the stalls and thereafter reared as the start was effected. Trainer C I Jonker was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (GT). b) GOLD DE GRACE was slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) In the concluding stages, COMMANDER OF ALL was carried out by ITSNOWORNEVER, which hung out from the 200m. c) Jockey S Moodley reported that NORTHERN KITTEN did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. d) Jockey J Gates reported that CREPUSCOLO changed stride continually in running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. e) CIRCLE OF GRACE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Spies was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. LATE RACE CARD CHANGE: a) CREPUSCOLO raced with club colours (all black). Stipes' permission.
