THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start SMORGASBORD which was slow into stride was squeezed out between JET LEGACY which jumped out sharply and CATCH A PENNY which jumped in. c) Leaving the 300m DONQUERARI switched to the inside of MIGHTY ZAMBEZI to continue its run. Thereafter DONQUERARI was continually baulked for a clear run between the 250m and 100m and was then directed to the inside of MILITARY COMMAND to continue its run. d) Shortly before the finish JET LEGACY was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of MILITARY COMMAND. e) In view of the performance of SMORGASBORD (6.15 lengths and 50/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. f) MOJO MAN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
