THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE CULLINAN jumped inwards. b) CATWALK KING jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h50) b) At the 250m GRAPES OF WRATH was directed outwards and into clear running. Thereafter, GRAPES OF WRATH had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the outside of REEF RUNNER, which rolled out approaching the 100m. c) In view of the performance of SHEZARIPPER, which raced in isolation in the centre of the racecourse and tired quickly in the latter stages, the Veterinarian was requested to examine this filly. d) Jockey S Veale reported that EARN THE WEEKEND took no interest in running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine this colt. e) CATWALK KING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
