THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WICCAN WARRIOR and MISTER NIBBLES lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start WICCAN WARRIOR, which was slow away, was bumped by ROYAL SWORD, which jumped inwards, and BLAST FROM THE PAST, which jumped outwards. c) BLAST FROM THE PAST was not persevered with from the 250m. Thereafter, Jockey C Little reported that this gelding made an abnormal respiratory noise and coughed in the running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. d) Trainer R Maingard was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1., in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse KLEIN KAROO. Trainer P B Muscutt, acting on behalf of Trainer R Maingard signed an Admission of Guilt and was issued with a warning. e) KLEIN KAROO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P B Muscutt acting on behalf of Trainer R Maingard was advised (MM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) KLEIN KAROO raced in the Operator's colours.
