THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SITVA QUEEN jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) LET YOUR LOVE FLOW jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, MINERVA FAE was bumped out by SITVA QUEEN, which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) Approaching the 300m, PENNYS CHOICE was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between the outside running rail and MISS RIVER DANCER, which rolled out. Apprentice M Mbuto (MISS RIVER DANCER) appeared before the Board and was advised to make more of an effort to keep his mounts straight in races. Assistant Trainer T Woodruff, acting on behalf of Trainer J Crawford, was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of PENNYS CHOICE on return to stables. d) At approximately the 100m, ELEGANT EDGE was carried out by SITVA QUEEN, which shifted out away from the crop and was corrected. e) APPARITION, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Mathew de Kock was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED: a) WINTER BELLE scalp wound left hind. b) MINERVA FAE scalp wound left hind. c) NAOME'S GIRL scalp wound left hind.
