LOVE TO TANGO, which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly inwards losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. VALKYRIE was restless in the stalls. ZAKUSKA had to steady approaching the 50m to avoid the heels of JET TURBINE, which was brushed inwards by SHINGWEDZI, which shifted in away from the crop. Jockey van Niekerk, the rider of SHINGWEDZI, appeared before the Board regarding this incident and was advised to take stronger measures to keep his mounts on a straight course in future. DOWNTOWN GIRL was hanging out in the closing stages. SHINGWEDZI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
