FABRIC and PEARLY GATES were slow into stride. WILDCAT RISING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FABRIC took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. YOUR WORSHIP jumped outwards at the start resulting in PEARLY GATES being squeezed out. WILDCAT RISING and IMPERIAL JET over-raced in the early stages. IMPERIAL JET and MOJO G brushed on two occasions approaching the 300 metre mark. LORD AIRLEE and PACK ICE were not persevered with in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding and this colt. SUPREME LEADER and PEARLY GATES raced fitted with blinkers. WILD CAT RISING did not race fitted with blinkers. Vet: FABRIC, LORD AIRLEE and PACK ICE - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: EPILOGUE - elevated temperature. WISE WILLIAM - under veterinary care. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure with the exception of WEST END (Race 4) who was identified by means of a microchip number.
