NO WHITE FLAG was slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine EMMA DE LAGO (AUS), which gave ground from the 400m, and submit a report. Trainer Snaith was advised to report back on the filly's condition on her return to the stables. In view of the performance from NO WHITE FLAG, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. Jockey Andrews reported that I'M A ROCK STAR was bleeding in the mouth. CHASING DREAMS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: I'M A ROCK STAR - bleeding from the mouth. NO WHITE FLAG - short on the near hind. EMMA DE LAGO (AUS) - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
