INTERNET JET, which was restless in the stalls, flyjumped losing two lengths. In view of the performance from INTERNET JET, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. PECAN NUT had to steady at about the 1100m, on the inside of VALE, which received some pressure and was carried inwards by FIDELITY, which shifted in. Jockey Behr, the rider of FIDELITY, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to runners on his inside when he shifted in at the 1100m. Jockey Behr signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of one week. SAINT SOPHIA was switched out to continue its run at the 150m. SILVANE SPRING was hanging out in the closing stages. PECAN NUT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: INTERNET JET - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: BORREGO LADY - lame left fore. PIKITUP - not eating up.
