The start of this Race was delayed as a result of the horses leaving the parade ring late due to no water in the unsaddling area after a water pipe had burst, as well as the ambulance having difficulty in turning around at the 1000 metre mark. ORARY and JELLYLORUM were slow into stride. DANCING GODDESS lost one length. DAZZLING GEM was restless in the stalls. WATTALOTIGOT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. JELLYLORUM was hanging in throughout. CATCHING ZEDS became unbalanced approaching the 500 metre mark. Jockey Lerena, the rider of GO CHIC, accidentally dropped his off side rein approaching the 50 metre mark, which he re-gained shortly thereafter. SORBONNE was continuously baulked for a clear run between the 200 metre and the 100 metre marks and thereafter was switched in to obtain a clear run. GO CHIC raced with a tongue tie. Vet: FORARY - moderate post race distress. DAZZLING GEM - mouth injury.
