DOUBLE OR QUITS jumped awkwardly inwards, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. ALBERTS GEM jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. NO WHITE FLAG was slow into stride. In view of the performances from TAKE A RISK, DOUBLE OR QUITS and LEGENDARY DANCER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies and submit a report. ALBERTS GEM was hanging out from the 300m. CALYPSO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. HONEY SCRUB raced fitted with blinkers. Vet: TAKE A RISK - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. DOUBLE OR QUITS - cut on the right fore. LEGENDARY DANCER - not striding out. DOWNTOWN GIRL - speedy cut on the left fore. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
