ASHTON PARK jumped awkwardly with its head up, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. ROYAL FOLLY was squeezed out at the start. The start of this race was delayed slightly due to no camera on the back straight. SOUTH KENSINGTON, which was hanging out, was brushed approaching the 300m and became unbalanced for a number of strides when SUSSEX SONG shifted inwards. Jockey Hatt, the rider of RED TRACTOR, reported that his saddle slipped back shortly after the start, which resulted in him being unable to fully assist the colt thereafter. ASHTON PARK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SUSSEX SONG - cast the right fore shoe in running.
