The start of this race was delayed due to REBEL POSE breaking through the front gates, dislodging its rider and bolting the course. Stable Employee Vireira, acting on behalf of Trainer Binda, was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. BOARDING CALL was stubborn loading. ADRIATIC SKY and SPANISHLILY were restless in the pens. SAVANNAH MONTANA raced equipped with alumites in front and steels behind. SAINT CLAIRE raced equipped with blinkers. An Inquiry will be held into Jockey Strydom's ride on the horse SAVANNAH MONTANA. UNITED was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GEM OF DUBAI and JUSTANOTHERDAY - coughing. Scratched: REBEL POSE - bolted the course and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
