The start of this race was delayed due to TIGER PLAY rearing in the pens and dislodging Jockey Strydom, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. MONEY FLOWS was slow, losing 3 to 4 lengths. Apprentice Juglall was charged with a contravention, read with Guideline C on the use of the crop, in that he struck the horse RODEO SIOUX more than three times on consecutive strides in the latter stages of the race. Apprentice Juglall signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. STORM WARNING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
