MISS SAIGON jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with JET BELLE. Jockey Fayd'herbe reported that JET BELLE did not stride out freely in running. The saddle on DIVA'S DAUGHTER slipped back slightly in running, which placed Jockey Neisius at a disadvantage. SEA CAT was carried outwards on two occasions, at the 300m and again at the 150m, by LANNER FALCON, which shifted outwards. Jockey van Niekerk, the rider of LANNER FALCON, appeared before the Board regarding these incidents and was advised to exercise more care in future. PRICELESS JEWEL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Colours of the Owners of JET BELLE should read: Blue with a white square, blue sleeves and cap. Vet: JET BELLE - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. MAYBE YES - returned having cast the left fore shoe in running. Scratched: HIGHLY DECORATED and SHE'S A PIPPA - not eating up.
