There was a delay to the start of the 1st Race as a result of Jockey Yeni being kicked by his mount SHIVRANI in the parade ring whilst mounting. This resulted in a delay while ambulance personnel treated him and transported him from the racecourse, and whilst awaiting the arrival of the stand-by ambulance at the start. FEE and JUST LUCKY were both slow into stride. JUST LUCKY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Kennedy reported that AMRITA raced with her tongue over the bit. BEV'S BABY and JUST LUCKY raced green. The Medical Officer reported that Jockey Yeni was kicked in the chest by his mount in the parade ring. Tender interior upper chest. Vital signs all normal. Referred to hospital for x-rays.
