POPOVA lost one length. ARIANOS SPINNER was hanging in from the 300m. BARINOIS raced wide into the first turn. Between the 300m and the 150m, ARRABIATA switched out and thereafter switched in, to continue its run. Jockey Veale, the rider of ARCTIC PRINCESS, and Jockey Zackey, the rider of CERSEI, reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts. Jockey Ngwane reported that POPOVA made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. Jockey Randolph, the rider of EDEN GARDENS GLITZ, appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the Race and advised against the practice of using his crop down the shoulder of the horse whilst in a drawn position. EDEN GARDENS GLITZ returned post race having cast the left fore shoe. DIAMONDSANDPEARLS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ARCTIC PRINCESS - not striding out both fore. CERSEI - in season. POPOVA - not striding out left fore and coughing.
