LUNAR RAIDER and I'M ALONER were slow into stride. ECO STORM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ADMIRAL CODRINGTON and SUPREME LEADER shifted in shortly after the start, resulting in VOLCANIC ROCK and JACK FRIDAY being momentarily cramped. Jockey de Melo, the rider of ADMIRAL CODRINGTON, and Apprentice Dillon, the rider of SUPREME LEADER, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. UMLEEU raced wide into the straight. JACK FRIDAY compounded in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. JACK FRIDAY returned post race having cast the right fore shoe. UMLEEU did not race fitted with blinkers. Vet: SUPREME LEADER - respiratory noise. JACK FRIDAY - nothing obvious detected.
