OVER COUNT was examined by the course veterinary surgeon and passed fit to race. THE SUMMONS was restless in the stalls, turned its head sideways shortly before the start was effected and jumped awkwardly outwards, losing two lengths. The stewards reviewed the start of this race with regards to THE SUMMONS in stall gate two and established that, shortly before the start was effected, THE SUMMONS had become restless in the stalls, turned its head sideways and as a consequence jumped awkwardly outwards, losing two lengths.
