MONACO PRINCESS was slow, losing one length. WAT'S UP SARGE raced equipped with blinkers. SPIAGGIA (BRZ) over-raced in the early stages and raced wide on the bend. In view of the performance of SPIAGGIA (BRZ), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Laird was questioned regarding the performance of SPIAGGIA (BRZ). The only explanation Mr Laird could offer the Board was that this race may have been too soon after her last run and has undertaken to report back to the board should he find anything untoward on return to stables. SUPA SAMI shifted out slightly at approximately the 500 metre mark, making contact with SPIAGGIA (BRZ), resulting in SPIAGGIA (BRZ) and SUPA SAMI becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. MISS MAGICAL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SPIAGGIA (BRZ) - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
